Not much has hanged over the years although I went a little faster than this. Choose a (too?) tight cropping to emphasize the vastness of the desert.

I found the fact that the inner frame is the same or similar colour to the sand very confusing. It takes my eye up and away from the subject.

Is there any way of making the sky more blue? Again it matches the frame and that takes away the impact - IMHO.

The compression is a bit high -- pixelating the sky. But I like it.

However, I would argue that this is too minimalist -- more so than Shiela's "Dune Runner". What I mean is that here -- vast as the desert may be -- we see it as a sort of sand sidewalk -- and so it does not conjure up rolling dunes, or other clues that (for example) adding visual depth and texture to your creation would ( vis - a vis your waiting for tourists).

Hey .. you are the whiz.
Just telling you what I see as light snow falls outside mu office wondow.

Thanks for the comments. Edited this one on my laptop in the office and it turned out to be too tight and too dark. Since I see things brighter at home, another post of the same picture. Like this one better.

HI

I think that the image would be better in black and white but it is relative...

I think the second version is 'spot on' as they say.
