Wow, lucky you Bea. Great shots. I see them more often in the very late evening/dusk or night when I'm out with my telescopes.
That's a beautiful cat, looks very healthy.

I've seen them around, but this was the first time I got that up-close and personal, and it was quite a treat :)

I had to stumble backwards to get it and was a bit bummed that I had to cut the cute ears off. So I ended up cropping just a tiny bit further in and I think it works now. Whew!

Roland, I was very close. The cat had just crossed the path I was turning into and was about to disappear in the bushes when I saw it. For some reason it decided to come out again. What luck! Fortunately I had the wits to quickly change to aperture priority (I usually shoot in M) or I would have messed this up royally. :D

I'd consider myself lucky to see a household cat in a good position =__=

great images! I have only had opportunities to take shots of these beauties once........ there was about 5 of them, a family, I am thinking there was youngsters in that group, and they bolted before I could get a good shot of them,, these are exceptional images!! you done good! :D
