8th Grade Football - My first post

A couple images. I am a newbie. New camera, new to photography. I just got a new lens, Canon 70-200mm 2.8L, which is what I took these shots with. Please let me know what you think.

Sorry. Like I said, I am new to this. I believe these versions of the images should contain the EXIF data.

Not bad!! pretty good for a start. try Av f2.8 iso100. Adjust ISO to have a 1/1000+ shutter.

Looks like the weather was lousy.

I'm wondering if these would not have been better shot in portrait. I think I'd prefer having the entire legs and feet of the two main subjects (runner and tackler) and never mind the rest of the players on the field.
