Although there are only a handful of these cars racing in the UK, they do put on a show for the fans. Duncan Panton #69 alway enters the turns sideways on full oposite lock, lighting up the tyres as he exits..

sprint cars on pavement with a wing? interesting (our sprint cars that race on pavement don't have wings on top, i think)

Dave
The Nationals got rained out and are rescheduled for two weeks from now. Hopefully they get them in, as we had way to many rain outs this season.

Gary,
I nearly came over for the CSN, but could not get a decent flight price. Two rain outs would have killed me!
Florida for speedweek in February is a possibility now.

Although they only race on a 1/4 mile oval, the wings do help.
When they go over to Warneton in Belgium for the European meeting, the track is 1/3 mile and they really need them, hitting 130 mph on the straights!

I guess in your case Dave, it all worked out for the best. I just hope we get this one in, as I really want to see if Poirer can 3-peat, or if somebody can pull off an upset
