The bottom two are awsome. How far from the eagle were you. What camera and lens did you
use?

Nice photos ! That last photo don't look half cold though :-)

Good photos, perhaps a little more contrast would look nice.

For the second photo I'm guessing I was about 30 feet away since I was close to the base of the tree the eagle was in. The third was maybe 50 feet away. The first and third are approximately 1/4 frame crops, the second is close to full frame. The camera is a Digital Rebel with 70-200 F2.8 lens and 2x extender.

These pictures were taken on the Delaware River near Lackawaxen, PA last Saturday. This is a spot where the eagles migrate for the winter.

This day started out quite cold, at or below zero but then warmed up to about 20.

I'll have to try experimenting with contrast. I did play with the levels dialog in Photoshop but I worry about getting an image that doesn't look natural.
