First Post - pls critique.

Hi Everyone,

Been reading the forum for a short while and decided to share some of my work. I mainly shoot fitness models and am also trying to break into the fashion scene.

These shots were part of a test shoot for a fashion magazine, I had to shoot 30 girls in one day and had about 10-15 mins with each model. The brief was simple, nothing fancy just three shots each, one head, one full length and one pose.

I decided to shoot each girl the same way so that the client could compare all of them evenly and kept the lighting very simple, some may even say its a bit flat but at the end of the day the client was very happy.

Please feel free to give me any constructive comments and critiques on how to improve.

Nicely done. Your cover pic was great.

You shouldn't have cropped her head in the first one.
The second one was very good. The only thing I might add is to have your model turn his/her head slightly. Straight forward looks come across as being a little flat. Look at shots in fasion mags for examples of what the pros look for.

I like the lighting and composure of the cover shot. As you said in your post, the lighting on the first seems a bit flat. Cover shot is great!
