Rethumbnail

I am probbably just forgetting something stupid but I wanted a different size microthumbs and thumbs after I had uploaded 2 galleries. So I changed the resize methods accordingly. Then I used rethumbnail to recreate the thumbs but the new thumbs are just black?

If I delete the photos and reupload them the thumbs are created correctly?

I checked the permissions on the temp directory and they should be fine so what could be wrong?

Try changing the size selection of rethumbnail page to "from smallest size found". Check also that resize methods you use are using Imagemagick. What do you see in ftp messages?

The ftp messages looked ok. But the resize mehotd was using GD, now I changed it to IM and rethumbnail worked. But how come initial upload worked then? GD is working on the server.
