Zoombrowser Difficulties

I recently upgraded Zoombrowser from Version 4.6.1 to 5.0.

Since upgrading I have been unable to get the PC/Software to auto detect and download pictures on the flash card when inserted in my card reader. Same problem when I leave the card in the camera (G3) and connect the camera to the PC.

I've tried reverting to Ver 4.6.1, but I seem to be unable to completely un-install the newer version. When I try to install an older version, I am told a newer version exists.

Anyone else have problems with auto-download in 5.0 or have any suggestions?

I have a similar problem - can't totally get rid of Zoombrowser so I can reinstall it. I got a procedure from Canon support on removing specific keys from the registry but I still get the message that the installation failed because it detects some remnant of the previous installation. I even tried manually searching for and deleting any zoombrowser related keys in the registry and I must have deleted hundreds of them - to no avail, still get the same error message. I replied to Canon that their "Fix" didn't work. Haven't heard from them yet.
