i believe 1:200.. i didnt try the long exposure method... i just kept clicking away... i think i shot something like 200 pics and got three with lightning in them.. i think pretty good for the first time.. to bad we dont have much lightning in LA.

How long was the exposure set for?Exif data says 1/25 sec.

Even though you took 200 shots, at this shutter speed you were lucky to get any shots with a lightning bolt!

Ya i know, i didnt have a tripod with me... It was a pretty intense storm which made it "realativly" easier to catch some lighting...
