:) It was a cold winter day - February 5th - no sun visible - snow was melting slowly.
What could I do to get warm and to take a picture to share with all of you?
I had an idea - and my camera was nearly melting.

that's wonderful Ernst.
you must have taken a good many shots to catch this warm glow
could have damaged your lens
but knowing you ,you must have been prepared for that in some way.
the tiny piece of moving threads (?) on the right centre wood/coals could maybe go
to really complete the scene
I never saw your picture until very late last night.
nearly missed it
it's terrific
looks like ( I imagine)the top of a volcano does.....
before it really gets upset
(maybe it's wood here in the fire but it looks a little like cinders)
