Cool E36, but the picture doesn't work for me at the moment. I see the license plate is a bit yellow/red, so you white balance isn't quite what it should be. Other parts of the car have the some color so that's a bit weird.
The background is cool, but you've got to make the right composition to make fully use of the background. I would place the car with the side against the background so you have a full sight of the side of the car. You won't get to see the front or back, but that doesn't care. You can make something like this (http://www.dukesphotography.com/blogfiles/xb/1.jpg). The background is real good !
Just check your alignments and stuff. To correct the white balance you will need to play with your 430EX. Just set the camera to 5 seconds shuttertime or so, more is also good. And start popping your flash gun against the side of the car. Make 10 pictures until you feel it's right. You can make some awesome pictures with this technique. Don't forget to pop the background to, if you like. Good luck.
