Question for anyone out there that is using or has used the spyder2pro.

I just finished loading spyder2 and then running the calibration for my monitor.
Images look fine but now my mouse cursor is very different.
Where before there was a shadow around the cursor now there is a pinkish outline.

Is anyone else getting this? Is this normal?

Sorry to be asking yall the question but you usually have better and faster answers than tech support;)

Thanks

Its not pink on mine. Did you warm up your monitor and did you run in it low levels of ambient light? I have found that both make quite a difference.

Yes, you should definitely let the monitor warm up, at least 30 minutes or so, before trying to calibrate and profile it. My own monitor is much too bright when it's cold (black isn't really black, but dark gray).

Also, did you remove Adobe Gamma from the Start / Programs / Startup menu? Remove it and restart your computer, because it interferes with the Spyder software.

I did remove adobe gamma, might need to have the monitor warm up more.
I think I could only wait 10-15 minutes before trying my new toy:)
As for ambient light I think it was dark.
I will try another profile this time warming up and at night.

Thanks
