Recently, I bought a used EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III from ebay for $99. I am going to use it for my upcoming budget macro project. Since I am still waiting for the step-down ring and converter ring coming in, I thought I would get it a shot for what it's supposed to do - telephotography.

Coincidentally, it was full moon tonight. So I took it out and set it on a tripod, complete with remote shutter release cable and mirror lock up for minimal vibration. The image was 100% crop from the RAW file, post processed in DPP 3.x. Sharpened, color temperature corrected, contrast adjusted. I know this is a piece of crap lens compare to the L lens, but it puts up a pretty good fight. What do you think ?
