Burj Dubai B&W HDR

From a recent trip to dubai.

This is a picture of the burj dubai (still under construction), there was heaps of pollution and a fair amount of heat haze so I tried playing with this in CS, its a HDR in black and white.

Im not really sure if I like it. It almost looks like a comic to me.

it's really difficult to get photos there after 7:00 AM due to the ongoing constructions. Try to take photo aroud 6 to 6:30 AM. I'm sure it will be clearer.

That's pretty cool! I like it! definitely reminds me of good ol' Sim City Ad's LOL. The haze really sets it off. I think it works.

Check your horizon. It looks like its tilting to the right a touch. Cool shot, nonetheless.

In the 70's?! You mean late 80's. 1989 to be exact. When the first Sim City was released.

I have seen plenty of Dubai shots here, have shot plenty myself too, but this is the first time I have seen it in black and white..the muted look of the skyline is kind of surreal, I like it.
