Hey guys. So, Induro / Benro (same company) copied Gitzo, and now Jie Tai (a China brand, distributed by Yong Nuo) copied Induro / Benro.

I could get them for S$99 (4sect) or S$110 (3sect), which is about 65 - 70 US. Should I go ahead with it? I get the tripod + ballhead + bag + strap. I'm personally thinking of saving up for the more expensive manfrottos (190cx3/4) and arca swiss ballheads, but till I can afford them, I'm thinking of using these tripods.

Anyone have any comments?
Cheers

Have the Chinese invented anything since gunpowder?

A Chinese knockoff of a Chinese knockoff! At some point cheap just becomes too cheap and I would wonder about quality and durability.

I wonder if the same principal of degradating quality applies here, e.g. when you xerox a copy of a xerox that was a copy of a xerox and so on so forth?

Even if it were of high quality, I might be concerned with quality assurance. If you're looking to spend around $100, at least Amvona has some good reviews.
