Company size: 250-350 employees, multiple offices in the US and one in Europe.
Type: software engineering...was on the INC 500 list for 2 years straight

My company had me shoot portraits of this executive. They are dying to know how much I will charge them, and have several other executives lined up if they like my prices (they love these photos). I want to charge enough to make it worth the money spent in gear, but also be low enough so that they keep hiring me. Hard balance to find...don't want to over/undercharge.

What should I go for, when it comes to a shoot like the one below? It took about an hour in the studio, and 5 hours of extras (setup, post processing, communication, etc). These will be published in magazines across the country, so giving them digital files is necessary.

Please give me some rough ideas here!

As you are already employed by them, I doubt you can hang on to any copyright, so it's really just your time you're charging for.
The bad news is they already have your value pegged at whatever your salary is, so I don't think you can squeeze much out them there, either.
Try them at 1.5 to 2.5 your hourly rate and see if they bite.
As an outsider, I would ask for $600 per sitting, and expect to get the green light.

Yeah I'm working outside of my normal business hours, as an independent. Pretty nice, eh?
