First attempt at this type of shot; did I go too wide with the aperture or does it work? I processed on a calibrated monitor but am posting without it; thoughts on colors/lighting? Any comments are appreciated! :)

Aperture looks ok to me. Just needs a levels or curves adjustment to brighten it, and maybe some sharpening. This is your unprocessed version?
