The LCD on my S30 has stopped displaying images. When it first start going bad, it would only give me half a screen, with black lines running across. Now it has gone totally white, which seems to indicate the backlight is working fine, LCD is bad. Any thoughts? I got adventurous and opened up the case but I figured I would just do more damage than was already there.
Problem is, I live in the philippines (camera was purchased in US 3.5 years ago) so I am very skeptical of advice I get here on fixing it. Appreciate any feedback.
