So..

Picked up a Canon 100mm Macro and a Sigma Flash ring.

Still learning how to use these things but here are a couple of samples, Picked up this kit to replace my 50mm 1.8 with tubes.

Found this fly and this is a 100% crop.

Looks like you've got the new gear working well :)- how do you find the new lens compared to your 50mm + tubes ?

I am not really sure, i mean like you said i do have alittle more working distance meaning i am not bumping the bugs with my lens trying to manually focus on them :D

I think the flash ring helps huge, it even has the modeling light so it gives me a change to get a better focus.
