Thumbpaths to a Gallery from multiple folders...

Hi,

First I must say that EE is just great! I'm just waiting for the final 1.3 release and registering it. I'm testing it and am very happy with it...

One tiny wish, I'd like to be able to define thumbnail/microthumbnail paths to one exhibition from more than one folder. It doesn't seem to be possible now, or have I understood wrong?

It's not a big work duplicating the two folders and doesn't require much disk space, but still ...I guess you are overloaded with everyone's little wishes.

Anyway it's nice that you are a Finn, too.

For now it's one thumb and one microthumb path for each exhibition. But nothing prevents many exhibitions sharing same thumb paths.

To make each exhibition use several thumb paths actually would mean changing EE so that each photo would have to be defined its own thumb paths. That's perfectly possible to code, but it could make things overly complicated when things really need to be kept as clear as possible from both user, coder and uploader perspective.

But this issue is noted and will get some new angles one day.

Anyway it's nice that you are a Finn, too.
