Took this today while visiting Looe in Cornwall...... I'm just a Newbie but i would appreciate any comments / Advice anyone may have..

Nice image but I think the white's in the foreground are slightly blown out I would also say that the shadows could do with a little lift to bring out more detail. I'd also consider looking at the crop too.
What camera and what were the settings?
I've had a go at lifting the shadows using levels and contrast to illustrate what I'm saying - hope you don't mind me doing so.

Not at all, that's exactly what i need.... It's the only way to learn..
My Camera is a Canon EOS300D. The settings were 1/200 sec, f/10.0 & ISO 100. But to be honest it was on Auto (Landscape mode). Like i said i have soooo much to learn.. At this stage i'm still trying to decipher if i have 'the eye' that i need for a photo.
