Seems like everyone was there (probably due to the free Peugeot ticket offer). I spent most of the time escorting my in-laws about - their first ever motor race...

110. Lambo falling to bits in effort to shed weight. They stuck it back together with a two strips of gaffer tape which held for about 4 laps.

Aren't Lamborghinis technically tractors too? ;)

Nice set of shots, I like the slightly OOF black and white ones. The last one is excellent as well, great DoF. Great to see something a little different. What did your in laws think, since it was their first ever event?

I took them to the F1 test earlier in the summer, but that was testing, this was racing. Father in law enjoyed it. MIL thought some of them were really pretty and colourful but I think would have preferred a sprint race... Bit confusing if you didn't have a radio or could see the screens to work out who was in the lead of which class.

Yes :) I suppose they are. Italian Tractors.

David Brown was a tractor man as well, so the Astons have claim to be farm machinery as well!

Porsche made some tractors as well.

Mmm... so lots of agricultural machinery... it isn't too far a stretch to say that it was a 6 hour lawn mower race then? No wonder I was bored! ;)

The cars have 3 LED's on the side, usually near the number board. The number of lights lit up tells you whether the car is first, second or third in its class. I'm surprised they don't publicise it more, it really makes following the race easier, even with a radio.
