New Website. Any Ideas?

So i just launched a new version of my photo blog / website using a service called SquareSpace. I've found it super easy and do recommend it to all but i am wondering if you guys could take a look and see if there is anything i should add, take away, or change about the layout and what I've done so far.

You images are not loading with your lightbox. More then likely your loading the folder

Outside of that it is pretty cool, Lightbox is bugger to get together, but its effects are nice

The left column is not really adding anything and its making the page seem a lot more narrow. Those few boxes on the left could be put at the top of the right column. Also the text in both the left and right columns is not the easiest to read, it could be a little bit bigger.
