Here's mine using a crappy $200 Canon 70-300 that I borrowed just for this shot. I don't own any lens at that length...need to keep buying lenses as I go with my photo bizz. Just bought the 85/1.8 (AWESOME LENS!!!)

I would move the light source a bit - to get those craters better defined. :)

I had already the Ef500MM affixed to the 1dMK3 and the 200mm f/2 is affixed (Glued) to the 1dsmk3..

Why not use the 800mm for the shot? You would have a better chance of finding that damned flag anyways.

Forget that , even the most powerful scope on earth can't see the flag on the moon ;) .
