I've been looking to get some of my photo's printed. I've already gotten some of them in a large poster size (24x12ish). However, the site I use reduces the dpi of any photo uploaded to 150.

If I'm shooting in a large JPG format, how big should I be able to print that photo? I'd love to get one printed at maybe a 5foot long pano. Is that possible?

Thanks all

Its certainly possible in the UK as the big Epson Printers will go 40" wide by as long as you want, up to a whole roll of paper. The ones I have done have meant posting a CD rather than uploading (where most have a 50mb limit per customer) as at 300dpi they get rather big. Make sure whoever you use can handle that sort of size and if possible get them to send over their print profiles or at least make sure they can colour manage at their end.

Thank you. The place I currently use to get prints compresses my photos to 150dpi, which severely limits the sizes I can get printed. I'm going to make a vew calls to some places in the city and see if they can handle larger sizes, etc.
