This was a pupose built track in the middle of the famous Fairyhouse racecourse in Dublin. The track could only be described as being "different" with many of the riders giving it a public slating. Most of the problem was down to the thousands of tons of woodchip dumped onto the surface of the track to try and soak up the summer rain!!

Riders have it too soft and easy with tracks nowadays and they still moan!

Hawkstone was awesome,perfect weather and superbly prepped track....that 500 sounded sweet!!

Can't wait to get up to Donington.
