Some macro shots taken this afternoon. Canon 30D, 100mm Macro, 3x Extension tubes and Suntax ringflash.

All found on the outside of my metal garden shed (which is a greeny/grey colour).

Not very good at this yet, but I suppose practise makes perfect!

nice looking shots.
the overhead view is good for ID's and such,
but a different angle would give the photo the extra that it needs.

Problem was the bugs were walking on the shed outer wall and the web was strung between the eves of the shed (about 3cms) and the shed wall. I tried tickling the spider with a grass leaf but all it did was turn upside down (shot 3) and run along a single strand to hide in the eves, game over.

Nice shots- as John says try some lower angles.
