I took advantage of my new tripod and wired remote, along with the clear skies to take some pics of the NYC skyline.
I used the bulb mode, did two sets - 1 at about a 3 second exposure and 1 at about 1.5 second exposure. I stitched them together using Photoshop Elements Photomerge.
Let me know what you think.

Kind of hard to tell with such a small picture. If you could be so kind as to post a link to a larger file a proper critique could be made. Otherwise it looks nice.

Sorry. I actually have the large versions here:

Nice. I took similar pics from the Hoboken waterfront several weeknights ago, but I didn't have
my tripod with me and they are too blurry for anything. I'm going back to reshoot when the
weather gets better.
Manhatten is such a wide place, it's impossible to get it all with a long lens. Too bad.

I trekked up to the Weehawken waterfront (by the Chart House) for this one. Seemed to somewhat center me with the ESB.
There's (at least) one exposure issue with that stitch though - just around the ESB. Any ideas on how I can fix it?

Nice Photos, I like the second photo best. You need to work on the merge though. Both photos show signs where they were joined. First photo seems to be out of focus.
Be sure to set everything to manual, including white balance, aperture & speed. I even manual focus on panoramas. Also, try "Panorama Factory". It stiches photos so seamlessly, you don't need to do anything else to it. It is much better than photoshop.
