Your gallery is quite impressive Richard! I especially like the dreamy, out of focus shots. They remind me of impressionistic paintings. I think your photos are beyond critique! (at least MY critique that is...)

Wow....
I love "Poet's Walk", "Crossing Broadway", and "Coventry Doorway."

At first I liked your gallery.
I went from the Home Page, then to the Photo Gallery List, then (of course) to sensual. Looks good so far BUT THEN --- I tried to backtrack to visit a different gallery. I right clicked and instead of getting the normal menu - the one with the BACK function right there where it is useful - I got some "Blah Blah Blah Blah Website Blah Blah Blah Copyright Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Ohhh - Photographer Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah" dialogue box.
Now I had to go down and click OK, before you would let me do anything, then I had to go up to the corner and find the back button. In other words - more work than it is worth. I doubt if I would be back.
And if you think your annoying dialogue box will keep people from saving the images, perhaps you have not noticed that every computer on the face of the earth has a "Print Screen" button. See...

But aside from the packaging, did you like the photography?
Well, since he did not post or link to an actual image to critique, I assumed that he wanted critique on the galley itself. The few pictures that I hassled with seemed to be fine. Although, I question the ethics of the "Sculpture" gallery. Unless one actually creates the sculpture being photographed, I don't think that you can pass off a photo of it as your own art. Borders on plagiarism. Makes the "Do not copy" message kind of ironic, doesn't it?
And to RBBBLUES, just to clarify about the "Do not copy" message - I don't mind the message, it's pointless, but I don't mind it. What I DO mind is disabling MY Right Mouse Click for the purposes of displaying your message.

i like the first page but your site seems over cluttered. try to simplify it.

Personally, the home page is a bit jarring to me. The balance of it seems off, somehow.
I think it's the way the menu is left justified across the top, but the intro image is centered; It throws the visual off for me. And, what's the "Hide" button for? This just seems extraneous to me. Hiding all of the menu items and replacing them with a single "menu" link doesn't appear to hold any functional significance here. It is as if it were put there for practice.
In the gallery, can you move the descriptive text for each gallery up, so that it begins at the top edge of each gallery thumbnail, instead of at the bottom? I think this would help remove some of the 'cluttered' feeling when looking at the page.
You photos, on the other hand...Nope, those are great! :) I also like your opening, welcome statement.

OK, I am just a little curious here. The most recent post on this thread prior to yours was mine - and that was OVER THREE YEARS ago. So it is safe to say that this thread was ... um ... let's say dormant. Further, I know that the threads here are listed by date - threads having the most current posts moving to the top of the list.
So my question is this: How did you find this thread to post on it? I cannot imagine that you clicked through ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty or more pages of posts till you decided to respond here. In all honesty, how did you find (and decide on) this thread?
Curious,
Rad
Oh, BTW, the OP hasn't posted here for almost a year, so do not be disappointed if he does not respond.

...the similar threads box...
aHHHH. OK, that answers it. I didn't even think of that as it is not a feature I pay enough attention to. Perhaps I should look more closely at that.
Thanks for the answer.
