Nice shots I like the angles. What lens did you use for these? You've got some quite noticeable green ghosting from the headlights going on in #1 and #4.

Nice shots!!

Thanks!!

Thanks, I did a lap inside and outside of the circuit on each of the 3 days just trying not to stand in the same place twice.

What lens did you use for these?

300 F4 + 1.4X - 1, 2
70-200 F2.8 - 3, 5
300 F4 - 4, 6, 8

You've got some quite noticeable green ghosting from the headlights going on in #1 and #4.

Why does this happen - is their anything I can do to stop this next time I am shooting straight at the cars.

Thanks again

Dan

I suspect it is due to the lens design in some way, which is why I was curious as to which lens you were using. I've seen it happen occasionally with my Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 but never with my Sigma 500mm f/4.5 prime or my Canon 600mm f/4L prime.

These are nice shots. the first TDI spider is very nice.

Glenn I don't rember that happening with the 500mm f/4 but it has with my 70-200 f/4.
