Prices are a lot cheaper in the U.S. than here in the U.K. and I'm thinking of getting a m8 whos living over there to fetch me a 300D on his next visit.
Found a good price at A & M Photo World - Canon EOS Rebel with Canon 28-135/ 3.5-5.6 IS USM for $479.99 - which is amazingly cheap compared to over here.
Has anyone here had any dealings with this company? - good / bad??
Dont want to mess my m8 about so need a reliable supplier !! :)
Thanks

OMG !!!
Many thanks for the warning. I wont be buying there after all.
It seems this could be harder than I thought. Can anyone suggest a reliable supplier with keen pricing in the U.S. ?

Buy from B&H Photo, they are not the cheapest but they are reasonable and their service is great.

The price you quote is not for a 300D, it's for a film camera. Make sure you see "DIGITAL" Rebel. Regardless of whom you buy from online, you need to make sure you know what you are buying.

Be aware of warranty issues. Canon UK won't want to know about a fault with a US bought camera... If it goes wonky you will have to pay to have it fixed or get it shipped back over the pond.
