My NBA arena absolutely does not allow video camera at games, but will allow "non-professional" DSLR like my XTi and 135L.

I wonder if someone at the arena will realize that some newer DSLRs have very good video capability and thus ban ALL DSLR from the arenas. :( It would probably be asking too much of the screeners at the gates to be able to tell which DSLR had video and which did not.

Anyone else worried?

Do they allow cell phones? Most modern cells can take video.

Yep.

They allow cell phones and P/S cameras (most with video capability) but not any pure video cameras. I guess the IQ of these are bad enough that the arena doesn't care. But the MkII does 1080!

I'm afraid to ask them too many questions. They might say to-hell-with-it and ban DSLRs.

There was a discussion on photosig a while ago, which said they will let you bring a camera, but the lens can't be longer than 3 inches.
The 135L is longer, but the 100mm ƒ2 would be allowed.

I'm not sure if they(security) would notice though, my guess would be yes.
