I spent some time in the Tower of London yesterday. A fabulous place to visit but an awful place to take photographs.
For a start it is dark, very dark, all the exhibits are behind either glass or perspex, and the place is lit with hundreds of little halogen bulbs which reflect off everything, and if that isn't bad enough, what you are trying to photograph is shiny metal.
Anyway, I like a challenge so here goes. All taken with an EOS 1Ds Mk III with and a 50 mm 1.2
