I finally coerced my brother into joining the forum. He's a Nikon user, but will likely end up with a Canon one of these days, and there's a lot of useful information in this forum that can benefit everyone, regardless if they've chosen to handicap themselves with second-rate equipment or not.

He sent me a PM this morning showing a User Name, and his public information indicates that he registered today, but when I run the member list, and sort by dates, his name does not show up.

When might I expect to see it there?

He is is user group "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" which means he has not clicked the link in email forum sent him. Hopefully the email he gave is correct. If not he should follow the instructions on forum front page (viewable only by unconfirmed members).

Nah. He won't help........

He's an ecologist, and they don't like things like busses. Besides, he has to stay close to places with lots of trees in case he's overcome with the urge to hug something. :lol:
