Just got the Sigma 530 DG and Cactus Triggers and am having no luck getting any light. The transmitter and receiver seem to be talking to each other because when I hit the test button the receiver light lights up but no flash. I have tried different channels but no luck. I suppose the Cactus outfit could be defective from the start because they seem very flimsily made. Got them from Mpex but no answer due to a storm. Anyone have any suggestions other than returning them?

How are you connecting the flash to the receiver?

I have this unit as well. It took me a lot of searching on the net and unfortunately I lost the address, but you have to set the unit to slave mode by pressing the mode button (displays CL SL) on the screen. Sorry I can't tell you the specific number (0 or 1). One on these settings will work, but be careful as one also puts it as an optical slave. Please check you manual.

Hope this helps

To use the Sigma Super with a non-E-TTL hotshoe, you need to follow this procedure:

Thanks for the link to flashzebra, I think that's what I needed. The Sigma manual has no help whatsoever.
