Original photo was edited in PS Elements , sky removed, cropped,feathered , sepia tone used . Comments please?

I just love sepia, and this picture is perfect for it.

Good photo and the sepia is a nice touch. I find your roughening of the edges at the bottom rather distracting though.

It's somewhat paradoxical, really.

Note that the farm equipment is already old in the picture, which has been photoshopped to look like an old postcard. Had this been an actual "period picture," the equipment would have been new at the time the photo was actually taken (and appear thus), and the photo would have suffered the deterioration of time, rather than the subject of the photo. Since both the subject of the photo and the photo itself appear to have weathered with time, one might wonder if this is not the American Gothic version of the Portrait of Dorian Gray, and there's some shiny, un-oxidized farm equipment somewhere that's been easily withstanding the elements of an open field for the past century.

Whow, That's deep.
Personaly I like the photo. Nice touches. Could be a little more exposed (lighter) as the older photos so often were.
