Used to wide angle lenses I was quite surprised with the capabilities of this zoom lens.
Attached you see two photos, wonder what you think of them ?

Both pictures were shot handheld. I borrowed this lens, but personally I like to work with this lens and the for me total new zoom range. Makes a lot of things possible.

IainB: Be interesting if you get that lens? Everywhere I went, didn't have one available. But then I realised I didn't want to L lens. Put my money to better use for the moment. Had to make due with 17-40, and a Sigma 70-300. Let me know how the 70-200 shoots around Auckland.

That shady lane is fantastic........reminds me of my grandmaw's house.
