Here's one I took while climbing out from New York City. We were at 11,000 feet enroute Laguardia to Richmond, VA. It was a really clear day. The weather on the east coast has been great for almost an entire week. I took this one at f2.8 and 1600 ISO. DOF is horrible at f2.8, but I needed the shutter speed. Anyone know any tricks for getting this type of photo without losing DOF?

Nice shot especially considering the condition you had to shoot in.

Thanks guys. It's been awhile since I got a good photo from above. Can't wait till spring, or at least some Florida flights.

This reminded me of a similar shot of mine, taken only this month, leaving La Guardia. Not as clear, but grabbed my mood - "Leaving New York"

Don't worry about depth of field here! You are very likely to be focussed at infinity anyways!
