Went to a World war 2 reenactment last weekend at Spanhoe airfield. This was the airfield where a lot of the troops took off from to be dropped at Arnhem during the second World war. There were ww2 planes flying and a ground battle with tanks, artillery, half tracks, jeeps etc.Everybody was dressed up in uniform or clothes of the era it was a cracking day out.Even veterans who flew from there came over for it from the States i wonder what memories it brought back for them

Those are nice shots, crisp and clear, although I'd prefer to see more prop blur, especially on #2.

As someone also learning about shutter speed / prop blur I do have to agree that too high a shutter speed makes it look wrong, otherwise a very sharp pair of photos. A couple of years ago I would have praised the frozen prop, but now I think you need to show that it's in flight, and if it is the prop should be turning.
