Had a really rough time with this shoot.....5 week old baby boy...but the parents wanted newborn style shots...hard to do once theyre this old. Poor lil pa-tot had open heart surgery a few weeks ago...such a lil trooper :)

thank you so much! I started shooting a shot like that with every baby purely because it worked well in a particular birth announcement template that i have....but then the look of that type of shot grew on me and now i do it with lots of babies just cause! :)

yes! we dont live in a huge town...so since he was born, theyve pretty much been living in a hotel to be near the hospital he was at....

they are SO happy to have him home and healthy

As a person who had open heart surgery as a child (about 4.5 years old), my chest always feels uneasy when I see shots with scars like his. Still, I love them. Great work.
