Hello guys... I've seen a few books but most of them were about portraits. Are there any resources to learn and master the art of direction and posing for fashion studio sessions?
By master I mean the photographer who can make every woman look like a super model on his shots :)
Anywhere to find info about art director?
Thanks

I used to be obsessive about posing. I would control all aspects of it. I've developed a style over the years where I've really backed away from that approach. I tend now to watch and pay allot of attention to my subjects and how they natural pose themselves and try to incorporate that into the shoot. Like the way they naturally stand and their natural body language. I tend to get more relaxed more authentic looking portraits their way. It is more challenging then have a cookie cutter approach but I find it more rewarding in the long run. I still control it but I try to control it in a way that allows the subjects personality to come through in the final portrait and still keep my style.
