Hi all...
I did not like a snoot on my hairlight so much... It gives a very concentrated highlight which doesn't make the shot look better, so I think about using a small softbox to give a more diffuse light over the head... But is this possible?
What you think about the idea of hang a softbox instead a bare or snoot flash?

Thanks

Some common hair light modifier solutions are grid spots (typically 20, 30 or 40 degrees), strip lights, small softboxes, barn doors and snoots. A lot of people use snoots but I find them to be the least desirable. My 2 favorites wold be a small strip box used over head for head or head and shoulder shots or a 20 or 30 degree spot grid with barn doors.
