What defines a Polarized type reflection? Any articles? How to recognize it?
;thanks :)

Polarized light is light whose waves are vibrating in substantially the same plane. Light may become polarized though any of several different means, the most common of which is reflection.
Keeping it very simple, when ordinary random light bounces off a planar surface, a majority of the reflected waves will vibrate in a plane perpendicular to that surface. This light is polarized. The "surface" off which the light reflects is often not readily apparent. Skylight, for example, has a variable polarization relative to the sun.
For reasons too technical for this discussion, raw metallic surfaces do not do this, the light reflecting off such surfaces remains randomized.
Polarized light can be detected mechanically, the easiest and simplest way being with a polarized filter (sunglasses).
There are many, many aritcles on polarization on the web. From simpler than this one to the extremely technical. Just Google your way to knowledge.
