First time shooting a black car at night. My main problem when upping the strobe power was hotspots. Tips, advice and comments welcome.

My main problem when upping the strobe power was hotspots. Black cars deserve better light than that? Try this light next time:

Black reflects, light it's surroundings, and not the car?

Yeah like the others said, lighting was not so hot. I do kinda like what the lighting did with #2 though.

You can always just clone the hot spots out..

Black reflects, light it's surroundings, and not the car? That's what we did in the studio. Only some direct light on the tires. don't shoot black cars at night Outside, almost night could work.

I knew to shine light onto the tires, i just had no way of bouncing the light off a big enough reflector onto the car
