Its finally about to hit the shelfs!...I was about to buy the older Canon S5 IS when I thought it best to wait for the new upgrade to come out. Its supposed to be available starting October. I understand it will probably sell for $400 or around that.
The main reason I'm getting this camera is because of its terrific movie mode. I can go from taking snapshots to taking video with hardly any interuption. And, a big plus is that it records the sound in stereo!...
I'm not too big on taking movies, never have been. I always preferred the digital photo instead. But now I can include some brief movie clips into my video slideshows that I create. I've created around two hundred video slideshows and now with this new camera, it should be interesting to include some video as well.
I'm curious to read what kind of reviews this camera will get.
