I recently purchased a XSi with the 18-55 lens. I plan on getting the Canon 55-250 and 50mm lenses. Looking for recommendations for a camera bag. Eventually down the road I will also be getting a flash. Mosy likely the 430EX.

JJ.
You have a few styles of bags to choose from.
Shoulder style is a rectangle style bag that you throw over one shoulder. Tend to slide off as you move.
Backpack style that you have to remove to accesss your equipment. Very balanced and secure.
Sling style that allow you to access your gear without removing your pack. Again one strap.
The Lowepro Fastpacks have bach pack style, two straps, with the convenience of the sling. Very nice pack.
As you will find out, you will have more than one bag for different occasions.

I should have stated that I also have the grip for that. I've been searching and I see a lot of bags that look great but the internal dimensions always are a liitle small for a camera with a grip.

Mosy likely the 430EX.Lowepro Fastpack 250 (http://products.lowepro.com/product/Fastpack-250,2086.htm) will be perfect for all that gear and give you room to carry lunch, a light jacket, etc. in the top compartment. One hitch: no tripod connector.
