"You don't have to worry about setting your aperture, your f-stop..."
What? They are the same thing, not to mention the fact that this "expert" is giving advice to rely on a computer....not good.

What problem?
The "regular consumers" need something to work with, too. It shouldn't be OUR problem. Take your camera out and enjoy it for what you make of it.

There are a ton of people on YouTube claiming to be teachers of this craft, including photoshop. I have found that I won't watch very much on YouTube as it proves to be mostly drivel.

I would have thought it would say more than use the "portrait" mode, but I guess for someone only interested in snapping pics of their kids and not into photography itself, I guess keeping it simple is the best thing.

I like that you don't have to worry about setting your f-stop OR your aperture. Great advice.

This is the same reason why automatic cars are BETTER than manual transmission. Cause it's easier! LOL

wait so "flower mode" is for mountains, and whats the little mountain for then? cakes?

*sigh
im all for there being basic modes for people just getting into it but i would expect soemone who spends thousands on such gear to at least learn how to work soem of the manual modes

then again thats just my opinion and i may be way off
