Good shots!
They seem just a tad underexposed on my monitor. A slight levels adjustment should fix it.
The horizon is crooked on the second. I tend to use the metal glass supports rather than the top of the boards to "level" horizons. While the top of the boards may not always be horizontal because of your shooting angle, the uprights should always be vertical.
I can't wait for my young fellow's season to start. He only hits the ice for try-outs and evaluations on October 4. Summer, for me, is just dead space between hockey seasons...

Nice shots. Were those taken with the sigma 70-200 ? I plan on getting that lens.

Good timing on the first . Colours look nice and rich.
In the second shot, the blue pants look a bit hot.
Great to be back in the rink huh? :)

You are correct. I used the 70-200 from the sin bin for this game. You'll find the Sigma to be a great lens for hockey. Good Luck!

It does feel good to be back. Had 6 games this weekend between my 2 sons.
The blue maybe a little overdone, I tried to bump the saturation in order to make these "pop" a bit more. I'll keep that im mind next go around.
