canon scanners

Good day!

Has anyone out there have or used the Canoscan 8400f scanner? I'm looking for aq new scanner and would appreciate any feedback.

I own one, and it performs well. I use it to scan mostly magazine photos. I like it better than the Canon LiDE series scanners. The 8400f has AC power, and the LiDE's use USB from your computer. The scanning element is different (better) too.

I've used Epson and HP scanners as well, and will stick with Canon for now. (since I cannot afford an Epson 10000XL which is probably the best prosumer scanner)
