Hi,

Found this little guy outside our cabin while on holidays, although I recently read an article in UK's PM about taking better pictures of toads/frogs, i didnt have this knowledge back when i took this photo, used the 550EX pointed up with one of those omnibounce diffuser, i took a number of shots, but i think this one was the best as far as sharpness and how i wanted the DOF to be seen.

I'm sure composition could've been much better, but i'll definitely look out for that next time.

I feel i am progressing - somewhat slowly, but i can see some improvement in my pictures from when i first got the camera (a year ago) till now, many thanks to loads of people on this forum and their posts.

Hi Alan,

Most image viewing programs should have an option to "show info" or something along those lines... from there you can pick up all the exif information.

An application which I use often is called exifer and may be found at the following site:

http://www.exifer.friedemann.info/

It's a dedicated exif pulling program.

Thanks.

Really nice shot of the frog. I like the DOF you settled on.

Heya,

Thanks all for the comments guys, I must say, the more i look at this image, the more i think it's one of my better photos right now :o

I think you are being hard on yourself. I like that shot. Very nice little fella!

Thanks reewik, i think that i would have liked to see more colour in the background, probably some green? not sure...

In any case, it's gonna be hard to find any frogs/toads around here... back to living in the desert, i'll have to search for some other critters :)
(That Image was taken when I went back home to Sydney a few weeks ago)

I really don't see how that shot could be any clearer. I think it's perfect. Well done.

Incidently, site was down for couple hours but as of 5 minutes ago, it's back up - apologies for anyone who got the big X while i was performing some maintenance.
